Thanks for visiting today! I have been a professional photographer since 1999, getting my first photography jobs while still in college. I worked for 5 years at a large commercial photography studio in Las Vegas learning many different skills including working in a darkroom (we shot a lot of medium and large format film back then!), lighting techniques, digital scanning, and large format printing.
Since that time I spent 5 years working at a video production company as a camera operator, director, story board writer, and editor, as well as continued to focus on my own photography business. I was the cinematographer and assistant editor for the feature documentary Last Of The Longnecks, which premiered on the Nat Geo Wild channel as Walking With Giraffes.
I also have a love of nature and landscape photography and have traveled to many parts of the USA as well as a few countries in Africa and Europe. I look forward to many more travels and have a separate site dedicated to my photographic artwork where you can view and purchase prints of some of my current offerings.
From a young age I’ve had a love of radio control devices, I raced R/C cars for a few years starting when I was 15 and bought my first R/C plane when I was 22. I built my first drone in 2011, years before they started to become more mainstream. The technology since then has come a long way and I now am able to capture 20mp still photos and 4k footage at up to 60fps
